Puma Bike Series

Created for ease of movement, urban transportation, and individual appeal, PUMA, Biomega and KiBiSi has collaborated to produce the next evolution in commuter bikes. Smart European design and commuter technology collide with urban American style – and culminate in a completely new Trans-Atlantic bike paradigm.
PUMA pared down its bikes to their essentials and constructed a new bike line with innovative and thoughtful details that meet the needs of a unique consumer set.
This PUMA Bike line is designed for urban mobility and finds innovative solutions for the everyday annoyances that come from maneuvering bikes through urban obstacles. The collection redefines and reinvigorates the city ride.
Each bike features colors inspired by island culture in the Atlantic – symbolizing this new Trans-Atlantic approach and balancing PUMA’s European heritage with American popular culture.
By pulling together the best parts of practical, continental city and folding bikes, BMXs, American cruisers, and fixies, these PUMA Bikes create a whole new urban typology. One that stands out in the crowd. And knows how to make its own way.

Peter Gabriel meet Lone Wolf

So myself and my good mate Leon went to the 'Waterfront' in Norwich last night to watch a band called the "Wild Beasts". We'd both seen them before last year at the UEA when they were on tour with a band called "The Foals" I will mention that the "Wild Beasts" were awesome by the way and it is so nice to say I went and heard a band which although indie have their own style and are very unique! = )

"Wild Beasts" were accompanied by two of the most talented & original supporting acts I have ever heard, the first one being a guy called 'Paul Marshall' who performs under the title "Lone Wolf" and the second was a band called "Erland and the Carnival". Both acts were quality and a couple of the coolest supporting acts I've seen.

Throughout the gig all the bands were talking about a new music video that 'Paul Marshall' (Lone Wolf) had recently made for his new single called 'Keep Your Eyes On The Road'. It was made in a remake style of the classic video which "Peter Gabriel" used for 'Sledgehammer' ; )

I believe "Lone Wolf" had the entire support from 'Aardman Animation' who produced the 'Sledgehammer' classic. The "Lone Wolf" video isn't taken shot for shot but have used a few of the classic scenes from the original version but adapted the stop motion style in some cases to suit more with Lone Wolf's darker lyrics.

Please enjoy!

Animator vs. Animation

YO!

Stumbled across an email which had been forwarded across the Worldwide Web called "Your Computer". It basically gives you a link to click which takes you to a beautifully designed flash animation designed by Alan Becker. I don't want to spoil it for you so please copy the link below into your web browser and enjoy.

It would be funny if this really happens? lol...

Starry Eyed Remix!

A remix of the latest single perfromed by Ellie Goulding called "Starry Eyed" which was released on February 22 of this year. The tune I'd like to share with you is remixed by Jakwob.

A tune that needs to be listened to by all. It can make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. I love it and thought you'd like to hear it too. Enjoy ; )

Mother of All Funk Chords

Afternoon all...

Well as this blog isn't strictly related to Graphics I thought I'd share with you probably one of the coolest talents I've ever landed my ears on.

I'm one of those designers who finds it a lot easier to get an idea out onto paper if I have music playing in the background. Nothing to strong but a cool relaxed sound or something I can't predict first time round.

Being a huge Music fan, I'm always hunting for something new and original.
Anyways, I thought I'd share a piece I discovered a couple of years back by an artist called "Kutiman".

Kutiman mixes unrelated Youtube videos in a Project called "Thru-You". The track I'd like to share with you is called, "The Mother of All Funk Chords" I hope you all enjoy it the first time round as much as I did = )

Put the Fun Back in 40 Seconds

Top of the Morning to ya...

The new Vauxhall Corsa TV advert has been on my mind for a couple of weeks now. Well it was two weeks ago when I first laid my eyes on it anyway. I really enjoy it every time I see it and when I arrived home from work late yesterday night, I switched on the telly to de-stress with some Family Guy on Fox HD and within a few minutes of television commercials it came on.

The advert created by 'DLKW London' in about 40 seconds shows the Corsa moving against a fun designed posterised, comic type background of Pop images. The end of the advert has the narrator (Edith Bowman) introducing the Corsa as 'putting the fun back into driving'.

The advert is so aesthetically pleasing to the eye and accompanied by a Gnarles Barkley soundtrack called 'Run' which I personally think makes this Corsa advert the best one Vauxhall have made yet!

No Blog = No Job

Well here it is. I finally have a blog so now when I finish my degree I'll be able to obtain a job somewhere in the design industry lol... ; ) "That's a wink for Andy"

So where do I start? I guess I'm just going to blog about my thoughts and opinions I have on design, music and living life in the world today.

Please don't hesertate to comment on the posts I make about various different things. After all it is a blog and that is the general rule of thumb right?

I hope you enjoy and benifit from "Pen 2 Papers" findings etc...
